Who We Are

La Mer Petroleum
(Pty) Ltd

La Mer Petroleum was established in 2011 to fill the need for low-sulphur diesel when South Africa was mainly using 500ppm. Initially the core business was the upstream market — importing of vessels and selling to wholesalers that distributed to downstream end users.

Through the years much has changed and we are now a well-known name in the industry, offering services across the whole supply chain in six provinces.

We have partnered with Taxi Associations throughout South Africa to offer supply through a pilot project with NERSA. This approval enables La Mer Petroleum to construct depots for the association, empower the community and provide new job opportunities.
